Assistant Professor, Electrical Engineering and Electrical & Computer Engineering Technology

Prior to joining us at Western, Dr. Mark Azadpour was a Professor of Engineering at Colorado Technical University and developed Software Engineering, System Engineering, and Computer Engineering curriculum. He will be teaching Electrical Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology classes. Dr. Azadpour has over 17 years of industrial experience and has worked for high tech companies such as ABB, Emerson Electric, Motorola, and Vitesse in various design and research development positions. He earned both his Masters and Bachelors degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University, and received his Ph.D. from the University of Colorado. Dr. Adazpour’s research interests include Computer Engineering, embedded systems, and System on Chip design and verification of large digital systems. He is a member of IEEE and an ABET assessor.
