Assistant Professor, Engineering Technology Professional interests include 3D simulation of electrical and thermal effects in the human body, numerical methods in electromagnetics, electrophysiology, 3D graphics, and digital signal processing. Prior to
his arrival at Western Carolina University, Mr. Adams worked in test engineering
at IIT Research Institute, designing interface circuitry for use in electromagnetic
compatibility testing of aircraft navigation equipment. He worked at the
University of Alabama in Huntsville, where he designed a simulation of
electrical signals in the human body and taught courses in digital systems
and digital signal processing. He was a member of the faculty at Buffalo
State College in engineering technology. He has been a faculty member
at Western Carolina University since 2003. Teaching responsibilities include
undergraduate courses in electrical and computer engineering technology.
